This cd rocks.Jon released his first cd in 1995 -- it took nearly 10 years to get this second cd out. This represents an enormous artistic leap forward in every respect.Jon shows a clear artistic vision and style that I love. He shows a virtuosity in his guitar playing that moves him to the top ranks of blues-rock guitarists. And the harp parts he puts on a few tracks show he is also a great harp player.Jon played with Johnny Winter for years, then with Bo Diddley, and frequently sits in with Les Paul in New York. He worked with Muddy Waters in Muddy's Johnny Winter days, Chuck Berry from time to time, and other blues and rock fathers. He has internalized all the lessons he learned and has finally developed a strong original wonderful artistic style and identity that made it to cd.I know in my heart there's a lot more to come from Jon Paris. Check out "Blue Planet." It's a gas."
