JON MCLAUGHLIN The Early Recordings... scheduled for release by Orangehaus and Megaforce Records. This is a reissue of the CD made by Jon McLaughlin for Orangehaus Records while he was still in college. Released in 2004, this album attracted so much attention on college radio that Island Records decided to add him to their roster of talented artists.

McLaughlin's songwriting and piano skills have often been compared to that of Ben Folds and Billy Joel.

The ten songs on this album make up the first songs ever written and recorded by the Indiana pop artist. Two of the songs from this CD, 'Industry' and 'Already In,' were later released on his other albums.

McLaughlin has released two albums with Island, Indiana (2007) and OK Now (2008), and is currently working on his next recording with the label scheduled for release later this year.

Orangehaus Records is an independent, college record label established in

2002 and is run by students in the music business program at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. McLaughlin was the first artist signed to this label.
