"I must admit I know very little about Jon Goin. Ever since I bought this album on tape I have been hunting high and low for more albums from him but to no avail. I can't even get a copy of this album "Waltz At Big Sky" on CD and my tape which I bought in the 80's is almost broken in sound quality.Jon's music on this album is very light and airy. There are no earthy or "new-agey" pretensions here but just good easy-listening instrumentals on mainly keyboards."Suite To The Waltz At Big Sky" opens the album with a very relaxing and airy music which makes you feel like you are floating on a holiday by the beach and staring at a very bright blue sky. Well this would be the scene you would imagine when playing through this album.The rest of the tunes are equally relaxing as well with a feel of bliss, contentment and longing. The music here is not demanding at all but they are music which you will not get bored with.The most catchy song here has to be "You've given me the look of love". It's simple and repetitive tune is what makes this album rather unforgettable.Great sounds to have playing in the background. Elevator music this is not!"
