Best of the Best

"All of Jon's music is incredible. It is jazzy, upbeat, and has a positive Christian message. When I first heard his voice on the radio years ago, I thought I was listening to Stevie Wonder. I had the vinyl record when it first came out and I loaned it to so many people that I eventually lost track of it. I have been looking for it on CD for years and finally found it. This really is his best album! For fans of Jon Gibson this is a must have recording."

"Wow! Has it really been 25 years since this came out? Anyone who is a diehard fan of Jon Gibson, knows that this release was his best work. Not to say that his work since has been weak, far from it. Those of us who have listened to this one on our old casettes and LP's are finally upgrading to this. The mix is original with one bonus track. To hear these well crafted, well played, unbelievebly sung songs in digital format is really a treat. Sonically, it could have been mastered a bit better, but not to worry. This CD will not dissapoint. If you love Jon's music, and more importantly his heart, get this CD. You will not regret it."

"Standing On The One

Jon Gibson was just starting out on what would be a tremendous musical career when he released a superbly crafted pop gem entitled, "Standing On The One." Utilizing great song writing and tight production from Bill Wolfer, Jon's work here only hinted at future greatness ahead.

Even though most of these tracks would be remixed and released on the Frontline label as "On The Run" later, these works stand as a testament to the talent and pop genius of Jon Gibson.

Leading off with a great "lost" Jon Gibson track, "Start It All Again" - this track was tragically and unexplicably left off the Frontline release and was desperately needing a digital rebirth! Finally! It's great to hear this song in all it's digital glory.

The packaging is first-rate and Canada's Unidisc has released this CD in top form including a nice slip-cover and full color original artwork. The sound is awesome and it's fun to hear these original songs and A/B them with the Frontline release to hear the differences.

Every bit worth the money to own this music on CD - Yes Virginia! There is a God in Heaven.
