CD Reviews4 1/2 stars, really - it's worth many replays 09/15/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "I have the Tomato record label version (on CD), but I assume it's the same as this one. I've listened to it about 10 times in the past month or so, and it's still fresh every time I hear it. The only difference I can tell between this and some of the great Delta blues records from 60-70 years ago is that it's not scratchy, since it was recorded in the 70's.Maybe not quite as fiercely intense as Son House, but any fan of Son's would love this, too."
