"Criminally, this Johnny Clarke collection is mastered at too slow a speed, therefore rendering it absolutely useless. There are indispensable Clarke tracks here as well adding to the crime. Look elsewhere for the title song and Cold I Up."

"The wonderful thing about life is we're all entitled to our own opinion. That being said, I have to disagree with the rating I noticed this cd received already. If you like Johnny, Bunny Lee, or The Aggrovators I think you should give this one a try. It's a collection of '70s sides that were released in '89. One thing I did agree with from the other review was that there are indespensible songs on here. Just listen to it. 'Poor marcus',

a cover of 'tears on my pillow', an excellent cover of 'since i fell for you', 'too much war', and even the title track are fine examples of how good this disc actually is. You may have to buy this one used, but it's a nice find if you can get it."
