CD Reviews

Zaragon finally on CD
Bruce Schafer | Eau Claire, WI | 06/15/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"After 30 years of non-existence in the world of compact discs, John Mile's classic Zaragon has now been made available. This is one of his finer efforts and includes the classic guitar solo on the opening track, 'Overture.' It is a great album with a story line a little difficult to connect, but primarily a group of songs that lend a great value and level of support to John's often anguished vocal style. But I do agree with many of the other reviewers that the sound is obviously not from the source tapes and not enhanced to meet the quality and expectations at a time when the capabilities to do such a thing should be available.

IT'S RECORDED FROM A LP RECORD
M. Neff | Taylorsville, Utah USA | 05/15/2008

"This is not a real digital format cd,it's recorded from a phonagraph record or a bad cassette tape. Do Not buy this unless you can not find a lp or don't have a record player. The background noise is terrible. probably recorded in a friends basement."
