"This album is a joint effort between bluegrass champion John Hartford and his son Jamie. This album has a more distinctly modern country feel than some of John's other records, but it doesn't detract from making this a genuine Hartford record. Songs range from the bluegrass standard "Run Little Rabbit" to the countryesque "Painful Memories" and "She's Still Gonna Break Your Heart."This album is slickly played and thoroughly enjoyable, musically and lyrically- "You can have all the safe sex you want to, but she's still gonna break your heart." Sound words set to beautiful picking. It is a shame that Jamie Hartford tried to branch out into a less than succesfull rock music career, as the playing he does with his father in this genre is superb and delightful to listen to.Get this record. Is good!"

"This is an album that really grows on you.
While dad John has his own wonderful, one of a kind bluegrass
music, his son Jamie too has a one of a kind singing style of his own that will grow on you and make you want to hear more.
I for one want to hear more new stuff from Jamie .
When I first heard this album with that strong powerful voice of
his, I was hooked!"
