CD Reviews

80s Synth-pop masterpiece
A. Salas | Brooklyn, New York United States | 12/29/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Beautiful, lush, romantic... even dancey at times, The Golden Section is an intelligent, well-crafted album. It's a must-have if you like 80s new wave, synth-pop or Post-punk.

My only complaint: if a two disc re-release was necessary only a few years after the 2002 remaster, why not include ALL the extended remixes on here? Excluding prime tracks (the brilliant extended version of Like A Miracle, for instance) on a TWO cd re-release makes no sense at all. If they wanted the fans to shell out money buying the whole discography again, why not give us EVERYTHING?"
