CD ReviewsA very innovative album 10/14/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "In addition to Mysterious Motions of Memory, I have a copy of John Flomer's earlier CD, Primal Cinema, obtained directly from the artist. Both of these albums are unique but overall his latest comes across as smoother and more polished. Flomer is a very talented artist in the New Age realm and I hope that in the future we will see even more of his creative work." What makes John Flomer better than most ? 07/18/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "Musicality. John Flomer's music stresses melody and rhythm in a genre (New Age) where these musical elements are largely ignored in favor of 'ambience'. Like the previous reviewer, I also have his first cd (called 'One') which I actually like better than this one. A true craftsman."
