CD Reviews

"well, i have to confess that i may be a little bias in this review seeing as he was my frined at durham university. i remember the nights he used to play at the college bops and i knew he would be heading for success. his talent for sound is incredible. Influenced by every sound he hears, Visions is an incredible compilation of his talents yet you aint seen nothing yet! if you love this then you will devour his new double CD "Catalyst". i love how he combines the jazz cafe with the drum and bass and the contrast between organic and synthetic is just totally demonstrative of his dexterity for rhythm and sound. the best thing is, however, his whole personality and being comes out in the music, as he uses every viable source available, including his own super sexy smooth voice in samba (on Catalyst). enjoy all and just remember, me ga kirei da na! his favourite phrase in japanese!"
The best drum and bass cd for your money.

"This is one of the greatest drum and bass records i have ever heard. It should get the respect it deserves. It is not a rap/hip hop title, and whoever wrote the review talking about his voice is confused as well. They are probably confusing this artist with Jon B. the lame r&b guy from the U.S. This is an amazing record for anyone who appreciates jazz, funk, techno, or drum and bass. A truly profound album."
Jazz, Jungle, & Bass: A moving musical experience.

"This music is incredible. The artist begins with some nice jazz sounds, then comes with some excellent jungle and hip-hop beats, taking the listener from smiling relaxation to dancing. The bass is heavier than anything I have ever heard."
