Sant'Ambrogio's sound, phrasing, and rhythmic conception are all personal, thoughtful yet passionate, and fully conceived. After years of admiring her playing with the Eroica Trio, it is great to get a chance to hear her play solo. Anyone who likes Bach- or the cello- will want to have this. Can't wait for Part II to come out!"
