Aaron The Baron | 09/27/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Although serious collectors will alreasy have this music in more complete formats, this is a fine sampler, which includes jazz violenist Venuti's hottest sessions(most which feature bass sax great Adrian Rollini). Most of these sides also feature guitar duets with Eddie Lang. This CD is overall excellent, and is surprisingy well done considering it was done on a small US label Yazoo, usually a CD of this sort is a European import. This excellent CD includes such classics as "Kickn' The Cat" and " The Wild Dog" and "Sensation." Every track is a classic. This will give one a difinitive overview of why Voe Venuti is such an important jazz violenist. Highly recomednded."
