Album Description"Don't Save the Kisses," Jodie Manross' new EP consists of six new songs - three self-penned originals and three favorite cover songs, including Howard Jones' "No One is to Blame." The live cuts were recorded live at the famous acoustic venue Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, GA in June 2004. The new studio songs were recorded and produced by Knoxville singer-songwriter Greg Horne and include lap steel, electric piano, Wurlitzer organ, drums, bass and mandolin. Greg Horne also wrote the song, "Don't Save the Kisses," which is featured on the EP. This is Jodie's first solo effort and her first recording since her band, the Jodie Manross Band, broke up last year. With this EP, Jodie's acoustic-based folk rock wanders from alt-country to blues. It's an emotional grassroots effort inspired by her small hometown in Pennsylvania to the southern mountain landscape of her current home in East Tennessee. It's filled with thoughts and writings about lost loves, smoky bars and longing. Los Angeles Entertainment Weekly exclaims, "Her crisp voice and illuminative songcraft belie her diminutive stature- equal parts wistful and urgent...Soon you?ll be calling her ?the? Jodie Manross."
