CD ReviewsSo sad, poor quality!! Ricky H. Haag | Manchester,N.J. USA | 02/26/2010 (3 out of 5 stars) "I purchased this CD mainly for the 3 unreleased tracks (tracks 3,4 &5). Upon listening I quickly discovered the quality was pretty bad! Loud pops throughout most songs and just lousy on the rest! I realize some material is hard to re-do, due to the source and original masters, but Japan released Jimmy Briscoe's Ebony Princess album a couple of years ago with a lot of these same songs, and that was near FLAWLESS! So no excuses I guess! It's just a shame because good classic soul music can be so hard to get your hands on, and then when you can finally get it, it can be disappointing when the quality is poor! So buy this if you NEED those 3 unreleased tracks but don't expect good quality! P.S. The packaging is good and it looks as if the re-issue took a lot of work,meaning... it doesn't look quickly put together or cheap, but looks, obviously can be decieving!"
