"Unless you are willing to spring for the fantastic Bear Family sets, Jimmie Davis material is hard to find. Davis was one of the most popular Country music stars before World War II and his career lasted until he died in 2000. He is most famous for his song "You Are My Sunshine" which is included here with other hits such as "Nobody's Darling But Mine." This set is an excellent companion to the the "I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now" 2 disc set as it includes hits not on that set. Outside of the now out of print Country Music Hall of Fame disc, this is the best single disc introduction to classic Davis material."
