CD Reviews

Almost a hits package in its own right, great talent

"With 3 top 40 hits missing this reissue of a studio album by Jim Glaser (of Tompall Glaser and The Glaser Brothers fame as he is one of Tompall's brothers) originally released in 1983 is as close as you can get to a hits package as so many of these tracks were top 40 hits including these great highlights: "If I Could Only Dance With You," "When You're Not a Lady," "The Lights of Albuquerque," "Let Me Down Easy," and "You're Gettin' To Me Again." This CD also features his version of "Woman, Woman" which became a hit for Gary Puckett and The Union Gap and that is well performed. If you miss the time in country music when it wasn't so dominated by "country" music that really isn't country and want to get back to listening to the country music that is dominated by heartfelt lyrics and great stories, then you must get this CD by this incredible singer-songwriter."
It's finally on CD!!

"We have a 1983 cassette of Man in the Mirror that is practically worn out. It's great easy-listening music - not the "twang'y" or "who died depressing" country type you might think of. I can't say there's a bad track on it. It's one of our favorites - we're thrilled that it's back on CD!"
