CD Reviews

A favorite for 10 years!

"Ten years ago, I received this tape as a gift from a friend. It was not the kind of thing that I listened to and I figured I would hate it. It sat unopened for almost a year and one day when I had nothing better to do, I popped it in the car stereo and was carried away. I wore it out. I wore out the copy. The copy of the copy was destroyed in a fire and I missed it terribly. Finally I bought the CD.Over the last few weeks, I've choreographed a figure skating program to the track "Gone." Usually after the million or so required listenings, I hate the piece and never want to hear it again. I'm addicted to Gone instead and I still love it as much as ever."
Pure Bliss

"This is one perfect album. Right from the very first track through to the last, Dusk encompasses all the wonder that is supposed to be inherent in beautiful music. This is my favorite album and contains my favorite piece ever, Spirit Prince. Big words coming from a person who owns over a thousand CD's and was into Metal prior to hearing this album, in fact, Dusk is the reason I purchased all of Jim Chappell's albums and started listening to other Real music and new age artists. No matter how my day went, as soon as I press play, pure bliss will be what I experience. The music within is all I need to know that life is good."
Dusk is wonderful

"One of Jim Chappell's most amazing piano solo albums. Each piece is moving and inspiring. You can truely sense the emotion conveyed by the music."
