"I'm a huge fan of Dance Hall Crashers, Karina Denike's main project, so of course I got this album.Its very different than any DHC album. This is mostly a pop/vocal album, but its good nonetheless.I can't wait for Stara Nova, Karina's new band to record and tour...expect to hear from them soon.DHC fans, BUY THIS NOW."

"I am an avid fan of all kinds of music and this CD is really amazing. First I will say, this is not your standard pop CD. If you want something exactly like what you would hear on the radio, then move on. But if you enjoy talented musicians and thoughtful, insightful lyrics, then this CD is for you. The women's voices are incredible and the arrangements are really wonderful. If you order a used copy, ask if it has the lyrics sleeve with it... they are worth reading. The style is kind of funky jazzy, little bit like Bobby McFerrin... but with the most amazing harmonies you'll ever hear. Several of the songs are women with attitude songs... along the lines of "hurt me again and I might have to slash your tires" And some of them are more reflective of the role choises we make in our relationships. There are a couple of songs on there that are silly or interesting, but I don't really like to listen to, but otherwise the CD is rich and wonderful. Go for it... for less than 10 bucks, you could use it as a coaster if you don't like it... but if you like it... it will occupy a cherished spot in your CD changer for a long long time."
