CD Reviews

Wonderfully epic songs
Ishmael | Montana | 05/03/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I just heard Jets Overhead' Mirror Mirror on KCRW (Los Angeles) broadband and really liked it. You can listen to streams of all of the songs on this EP on the band's website at http://www.jetsoverhead.com/music.html. They've got a great multilayered guitar-driven sound with soaring chorus vocals, and artful reverb that reminds me of some of my favorite music from the 80s. Mirror Mirror is a standout track with great hooks and wonderful percussion. These guys sound like the next big thing to me. If they were a stock, I'd buy it."
GREAT BAND!

"Jets over head is one of the best rock bands I have ever heard. They have a unique sound and style that is really nice to hear.
A must own album!"
"Is my fate to take her with me?"
John Overturf | Bellingham | 03/31/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"From the blistering rock anthem "Addiction," to the psychedelic tinged tribute "George Harrison" and the glorious "Sun Sun Sun," Jets Overhead truly bring the goods. These 5 exquisitely crafted songs are catchy to the point of pop, but edgy and rockin' enough to give shivers of pleasure when they sing, "As I walk through forest lovely, sapphire stars and sun-bleached sky..."

This music is literate, triumphant, very unique and worth every milicent of that $8."
