A Very Good Start

"Caught Jesse Ruben at the Klein in Bridgeport, CT last night and was impressed with his showmanship and easy banter. Bought the CD and listened to it on the way home. While the CD is nice, he has come a long way since recording it in 2007. Start with some downloads and be sure to get his next CD as it is sure to reflect the new maturity and his singing presence.

He has a cross between Jason Castro and Dave Matthews in terms of his stage presence and style. He certainly tips his stylistic hat to John Mayer in terms of his voice and strumming. He has a nice, insightful control on his lyrics.

All in all, he is running in good company and a pleasant new find. Can't wait to hear Chapter 2."
