"I was a little boy when my uncles turned me on to this strange and cosmic music Moby Grapes Debut album,from what I remember I like 2 songs the best 1.Hey Grandma 2.Omaha it was so pretty and powerful,and not to trip anyone out but the 1960's was for me like walking into a cartoon,with comicbook colors,very deep,but getting back to the review I love the way Jerry plays like a cowboy doing Jazz~Blues riffs,I can see images if I close my eyes his notes he plays are very colorful and in my mind picturesq,both Jerry's had/and have that unique ability to pull tones from thin air,this C/D sound SaaaWeeeT!!! "This album displays Jerry's unbelievable ability to go anywhere and do anything on guitar. If you ever have a chance to watch him play, you will be amazed at his handiwork. He seems to be actually sculpting the neck of the guitar rather than playing it. Once you get this, you'll want everything else Jerry has played on, starting with the first Moby Grape album, where you will hear some of the most incredibly inventive, creative, and polished musicianship extant. No Lie. He's that good."
