Love it, didn't think I would....

"I am an avid Carpenters fan. I didn't think I would really like this CD, after all a Karen imitator is just that, an imitation. Why have that if you can have the real thing?

I basically bought the CD to drive my houseboys crazy. I play the Carpenters throughout the house a lot and they don't like them much. Being Mexican, they prefer livelier music.

So I saw this CD and decided that I would have fun with them.

When I heard the CD, the singer sounds a lot like Karen and the dance beat is not bad at all. I was pleasantly surprised.

I recommend this CD to anyone, especially people who like dance music. It effectively updates the Carpenters sound to this decade.

"i saw a video of forever carpenters and jenny sinclair on you tube. i had to get the album. i have been a fan of the Carpenters since i was a little guy. jenny sinclair is like listening to karen carpenter again. the similarity is amazing! the songs are upbeat and have a dance beat to them. think of this album as carpenters remixed. they take the classic carpenters songs and make them move. if you like the carpenters and don't mind remixes, you will love this album."
