CD Reviews

Beautiful

"Jejune bring an awesome mix of soaring harmonies with the guy-girl vocal mix. Not your typical "emo" band, jejune uses delay effects and hollow echoes and reverb to make a unique guitar and vocal sound. Definitely something different if you are getting tired of all the Mineral/SDRE soundalikes."
So wonderful....i'm in love!

"I cannot believe what an album this is. I always stumble on great bands long after they came out...I heard about this album about 3 years ago and back then I had no idea what it was about. Am I glad I got it. It starts out with beautiful emotion and it never lets down. I hate to call this emo but I can't think of much more...unless you just let it be and enjoy it without "genresizing." I suggest you do not listen to this after a breakup or when you're depressed because it is extremely sad, but in a beautiful way. Music that is bittersweet...but done so wonderfully that the sadness wraps around you like a blanket and envelops you in a cloak of emotion. Arabella's backing vocals and lead vocals on some tracks add even more to the album, as her voice is chillingly exsquisite. Listen to "Fixed on the One" and try to keep the tears from welling up. I've never heard such emotion in an album, ever. Get it. Get it now."
Emo or Not Emo

"Many people make a lot of how to classify types of music. Jejune is a band that is often classified as an Emo band; however, their music is not just emo. It is a blend of powerful harmony and great lyrics. It is the kind of music that makes you stop what your doing and just listen. I encourage anyone to just listen to one song, and you'll be hooked. Their music can send you through a range of emotions in just one album"
