His music is riveting and his performances are as good as live music gets. Every time I think he has done his best work something newer, better, and more exciting comes along. Chaz shows his progressive maturity as a musical genius on this latest album. "New Car Smell" is raw, hard, and real, like a blues classic needs to be. "Dreams Don't Lie" has a guitar riff that rides the bass to treble clef like a sidewinder in the Mojave; sleek, smooth, and natural.
