The bittersweet pop songs of New York native Jed Davis have been recorded by artists from Daniel Johnston to the Ramones. Here's his first solo album in a decade, executive produced by Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, MGMT, Black Moth Super Rainbow), with a cover by legendary psychedelic poster artist Victor Moscoso. The result is an atmospheric rock masterpiece in which lo-fi sounds nestle neatly into high-concept audiophile production numbers, and laughter and tears share a pillow.
