The band: Electric/acoustic guitars, upright bass, drums, and a rockin' harmonica. Jamie is the son of bluegrass artist John Hartford,but Jamie's "grass" is more down-n-dirty than dad's. His influences are many and his tunes show it: a pleasing hybrid of roots rock, blues, and a little true country thrown in for good measure. "Who Cut Your Heart Out" is driving, scathing fun, "Lookin' for Trouble" will make your dog howl, and "Good Things Happen" will make any girl bleary-eyed. Fun album."
