If you are new to swing, or not you will love this CD. I had it for years and needed to replace an old copy. The songs on this CD are tried and true with some mellow interludes in between. Fun to listen to cleaning house, cooking, in the car or where ever you may be.

Swing classics modernized

"The best part of this soundtrack is the modern jazz band version of Benny Goodman's SING,SING,SING. The recording is very crisp and powerful. Even though the song time has been cut just about in half,its still gets you movin. Stompin at the woodside is another really jammin tune. There are about 4 or 5 swing songs (some original,some remakes)that make this album more than worth owning. The other songs which were written for the film are too mellow and less to be desired. You can always skip them. The film itself is actually not a bad film either."
