A real treat

"After being a fan of Jam & Spoon since their very beginnings, i was surprised to learn that a tribute album was released following the sudden death of Mark Spoon. The packaging & track-listing for this album is second-to-none. For those wanting a broad collection of their work, this is nearly a 10/10. CD1 (Remixes) has some real gems, namely rare tracks "Back On The Block" & "The Nobodies". Their unique remixing of songs you would not normally even associate with trance is brilliant. CD2 (Club Classics) draws from their very early "experimental" days ("My First Fantastic F.F.") to more recent work. I was dissapointed to see that "Find Me" & "Angel" weren't included here; both these tracks are a testament to their recording career. However, the "Loveparade 2006 mix" of "Be.Angeled" is absolutely brilliant. It captures the essence of the original version in true Jam & Spoon style. If you have never purchased any of their albums or singles, then this is the BEST collection of their work to have; a duo that had a defining influence in dance music in the 90's."
