Synopsis

Product Description
Their self-titled debut, "Jakob Freely," was given a 4.5 out of 5 by the aforementioned UNSIGNED Music Magazine, who also stated that the album has an "alternative sound that should gain a large following." Applauze Magazine, based in Minnesota, calls "Jakob Freely" "distinctably upbeat and refreshing." Always looking ahead, the boys decided to ready themselves for their next project by recording an EP made up of a batch of live tested songs they've been playing for over a year. The result is The Elliot EP. Recorded in Athens, OH at 3 Elliott Studio, the boys worked with producer/engineer Josh Antonuccio and brought in local musicians Zeke Hutchison (mandolin) and Todd Sams (banjo/mandolin) to help round out the sound. As the boys round the corner going into their third year, the focus remains on recording another album, continue touring, and making sure FreelyFest continues to grow. If you haven't made it out to a Jakob Freely show, be sure to keep an eye out for the boys when they come through your area. Shannon Murphy, Co-host of the Morning Mess in Indianapolis says it best, "They are a breath of fresh air...I swear. If you haven't heard them yet, take a listen. Once you listen, you'll be addicted I promise."
