"Jakalope ~ "Born 4"

"Born 4" is an amazing, it's got everything you want in Jakalope. Jakalope's first album "It Dreams" was really amazing, and so is this one. One of the things missing from "Born 4", is the creepy feeling you get from "It Dreams". "It Dreams" had that locked door, creepy cobweb feeling with this no longer has. I kinda miss the creepy feeling. This CD is still amazing. Katie B's voice has grown, it's clearer, and it has more range. This album has industerial under tones, but main pop, and rock. It's got an emo flare somewhere under the pop air of the CD. The CD's first single "Upside Down (And I Fall)" is quite catchy.

"Upside down

I've been breaking' baby

Turn me down

I've been shaken' lately"

Not the world's most mature lyrics but, still so catchy and fun to sign and dance 2.

Second single, was "Digging Deep". "Digging Deep" was good but, still has the same problem, with not exactly mature album.

"I'll give in

Til I win

Hold me up

I'll dig my hands in

Reel me in

I'll give in

Til I win

Hold me up

I'll dig my hands in"

Then, agian it's still catchy.

The album is good, but the lyrics, and songs on the album are buetter than the singles, the singles don't showcase the amazing talent of Jakalope. I think this album has gotten better than "It Dreams" but, the band still has more work to do.
