JACKSON MCLAREN has recorded his debut EP with 2007 ARIA "Producer Of The Year" JOSH PYKE, and is quickly emerging as a singer-songwriter of rare talent. Jackson Mclaren was born well after many of the classic albums that first inspired him were released. His parents raised him in the small Victorian country town of Warrnambool on a steady diet consisting of the likes of BOB DYLAN, NICK CAVE, TOM WAITS and LEONARD COHEN. This musical baptism fuelled his early passion for music. At 18 years of age, Jackson is now more and more creatively inspired by his own observations of people and place. There is an honesty and depth in his lyrics and in his performance, which promises to make him a compelling storyteller for many years to come.
