"As mentioned by other reviewers and myself on other JL album reviews, Jackie, sadly, is one of- if not the- most ignored, underated and uncelebrated artists of the later part of the twentieth century. His albums IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT, HOME IS IN MY HEAD and THREE are all in my top 50 albums of all time. They are 5 star releases and until most recently, were not even available on CD. Lomax has a smooth R&B influence but is a gritty rock and roller all rolled into one. A unique talent that never caught on beyond the tastes of fellow musicians (Clapton, Harrison, Bowie to name but a few) and a small cadre of loyal fans. The good news is the albums are all on CD finally!! This is not his best but still 4 stars. Thats how good he is..."
