CD ReviewsAn interesting collection of rockabilly & country Robert Miller | Eastern USA | 10/09/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "Jack, where are ya? Why has this man disappeared? Jack Scott had a very different voice, a warm, emotive, mournful voice and he was sort of a Canadian Elvis. He was adept at pulling off country songs too, as shown in this collection. He should have moved to Nashville and staked out his rightful piece of the town. I love the background singers (The Chantones I believe) who were a Canadian version of the Jordanaires. The only horrible song on this collection is the novelty recording Tall Tales. It's dreadful and annoying. On the brightside there's plenty of wonderful country ballads & saucy rockabilly. "I hope, I think, I wish" is especially good - a very unusual song that few singers could pull off. Jack did it artfully. I recommend this collection, you'll shed tears in your beer as you listen."
