COOL AS COOL CAN BE....

"I PICKED UP THIS C D ON THE ADVICE OF A JAZZ MUSICIAN WHO HAS PLAYED WITH DIANA KRALL.HE LIKED THE SULTRY PRESENTATION AND HE WAS RIGHT ON!!!JACINTHA'S RENDITIONS OF "BLACK COFFEE" AND "SMILE" ARE MY FAVOURITES AND IN MY OPINION THERE IS NOT A WEAK TRACK ON THIS RELEASE.AS A RESULT I ORDERED A FEW MORE OF HER RELEASES.I LIKE THE FACT THAT SHE IS NOT "IN YOUR FACE" AS WITH SOME JAZZ VOCALISTS WHO TEND TO OVER POWER THE MICROPHONE WITH THEIR VOICE...."
The best yet from Jacintha.

"I have all her albums now (apart from the "Hollywood" one) and this is my fave. Nothing unexpected to come in and jar, as sometimes is the case with other relaxing albums. Everything on here is laid back and smooth and irresistibly seductive in a lanquid, mellow way. Her first ever album ("Tribute to Ben") was just a little too slow, but everything she has done since has been a delight and this is the best yet. Sophisticated dinner party music, luxury lounge, or just plain bedtime relaxation to get you in the mood for sleep or smooching with someone special. You can't go wrong if you are partial to this kind of music.

Sultry, sophisticated, seductive, from the beautiful "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" (also love the version of this from Diana Krall) to the end track, this album is pure gold from beginning to end. Sublime."
