"I'm writing this review simply because no one else has written one. I love this CD. I do happen to be a fan of Elvis, but that has nothing to do with my owning this CD. I've heard all of these songs a hundred times and that is why I like this CD so much. It is a great sing along CD (don't try to sing along with J.D.). J.D. puts in some low notes on a couple of songs. I've heard just about every song J.D. every recorded and I think the low notes on this CD are definitely among the very lowest I remember hearing him sing. All of the songs are well done, but J.D.'s voice sounds muffled on one or two of them. The only thing lacking is the flute and trumpets on "American Triology." The Stamps use a keyboard for those parts and since those parts are the rousing ones, it lacks just a little. I imagine budget constraints had something to do with it. Their version of "You'll Never Walk Alone" is much more dramatic than I have ever heard before. On the end of that song, Rick Strickland (the tenor) and J.D. go in extreme opposite directions. I rank this CD among my very favorites. I think any Stamps fan would love it."

"A wonderful Gospel cd JD & The Stamps in my opinion are the greatest gospel group there was. I know JD is in heaven and i know the Stamps miss him very much but the love and joy brought to us in this cd really lets you know how close Elvis was to JD & The Stamps. You will love this cd and i recommend this to everybody.
