CD Reviews

Great song - great band

"Tide of Fate is one of the best J Church songs in their lengthly catalogue. Over the years, J Church has released an astonishing amount of music and they're still going strong. Part of the reason is that Lance knows how to write good pop songs and there seems to be no creative shortage. I love this song mostly because of the lyrics, the line "tryin' to keep the bugs out of my mouth, you know it's you and me and the stars" is great. Love J Church today. They're from San Francisco. They're unpretentious. Lance is a cool guy. They work hard. They play pop punk with a sense of sarcasm."
Still Great after all these years

"Well it hasnt been THAT long but i think i got this in 94' or early 95' at the latest after hearing a live J-Church song on a comp. This ep is GREAT, It's hard to compaire these guys to anyone except maybe Operation:Cliff Clavin or Lance's former band Cringer. All I can say is this is one of the best pop punk bands that "sprang up" during the whole pop punk trend going around in the early to mid 90's forget blink or all that emo stuff this is the real deal."
