For anyone out there who hasn't heard their stuff already, to me The Ivy Walls is by far one of the best L.A. local bands!!!! This album is a perfect intro. to them, but FYI their latest album just released as well and it is my favourite, with its breathtaking vocals!! I don't know how to describe their sound because it is their own, but I know on their site they say some of their influences are The Church, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cure and The Smiths to name a few.. If you can catch them locally, I highly suggest seeing them live!!"
