If you enjoy Irish music .....

"If you enjoy Irish music, you will like this recording. I do ... And I do!

It includes a wide variety of Irish music styles, from the traditional James Galway's "Londonderry Air", John McCormack's "The Rose of Tralee", and Robert White's "Come Back to Erin"; to the popular Dennis Day's "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling", and Emily Mitchell's "Cockles and Mussels"; even to the (somewhat) more contemporary Jeannie Carson's "How Are Things in Glocca Morra?" from "Finian's Rainbow."

It would be difficult to select a favorite track from among the twenty-two. But if I had to, I would select Kate Smith's "Danny Boy." No, she does not sound Irish. But you can hear the pathos of a mother sending her only son off to war, the generally accepted context of the song.

If you enjoy Irish music, you will like this recording. If you don't, try it anyway; the bug may bite you!
