The most radical of the Male or Female "trilogy"

"To put it simply, for prospective buyers of this 2-disc set, it is the most interesting and complex of the Male Or Female releases thus far. Recalled Moments was good and marked a long-awaited new return to material for D. Bressanutti and P. Codenys, while Failed Destruction was something a minor disappointment in my humble opinion (a seperate CD, but 85% of it is just a long, extended remix of one song). Inverted Scenes/Naked is really nothing like what came before. Instead, it's a weird exploration of music that's not only nothing like Front 242 (so make sure you don't buy JUST because you like F242), but is a major departure from the first 2 MOF CDs. Inverted Scenes is a mixture of pure electronic/heavy rock/sound collage ambient/ and a few other things. Heck, the first track alone could easily masquerade as a slightly more electronic Swans tune. It's hard to descrive without getting into restrictive terms and generalizations, but it completes the MOF work so far in a very creative and powerful way. Naked, the second CD in the set, is pure ambient. It's just strange, experimental compositions that range from beautiful to mildly unsettling. Oddly enough, though, a few of the tracks on Naked already appear on previous MOF CDs. In my opinion, the first 2 releases should have been one set, and this set would be its companion. Make no mistake: this is a good industrial CD and a very interesting path for the ex-F242 boys to take, making MOF undoubtedly the most interesting project undertaken by an ex-F242 member (or members)."
