"I think I bought the last copy of this CD in existence. Why on earth isn't Ingeborg Hallstein more well-known? She has almost no recordings out, yet she was one of the most interesting and talented coloraturas of the 20th century. And why is this CD in classical music? I would recommend this album to anyone interested in coloraturas, operetta, or good classical vocal music in general. Her actual technique left a lot to be desired, but her voice was beautiful, her singing intelligent, and, with the exception of Solveig's Lied, which for some reason is horrible, this is one of the finest collections of vocal music in my collection. Someone needs to release her opera and Mozart recordings."
