CD Reviews

Inch, oh Inch... where are you?

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Stresser is outstanding album, and I highly recommend picking it up. Inch's later albums demonstrate a growth in both song-writing ability and production values but it is all evident here on "Stresser". "Kermit the Hostage" kept me coming back to this CD for months. If you are curious about their sound, as one of the other reviewers stated it is really hard to pigeon-hole (and rather unfair to lump it with other genre's). It's a little EMO, a little metal, a little pop, a little punk... etc. Inch's sound is all of these, and none of them. Have a listen it is brilliant material, really. If you are looking for a great band that just never got the recognition they should have (listen to the Foo Fighters "The Colour and the Shape" and tell me that "My Hero" isn't an Inch wannabe song) this is it."
