Synopsis

Product Description
Despite the plethora of music hailing from southern California, In Fear and Faith have proven themselves worthy of our attention. After selling over 20,000 records with their first release, and finishing their second studio album with producer guru Brian McTernan, "Imperial" will serve as a testament to the bands and will be on display at this summer's Warped Tour. Just finishing up a litany of tours this past year, these San Diego natives are ready to prove once more their reputation as a force to be reckoned with will remain constant.

CD Reviews

Here is an Album that Belongs on my Ipod
Andrew B. Reichard | USA | 06/19/2010
(4 out of 5 stars)

"To tell the truth, I was not the biggest fan of any of their earlier releases. They just did not excite me as some other similar bands did. With a sounds that sort of fits somewhere in between A Skylit Drive and We Came As Romans, which are two of my favorite bands, they should have fit right in with the rest of the family, but I never really loved it as much as I thought I should have. I did not know why that was until I heard this album. In Fear and Faith have improved upon everything that they were lacking in their older stuff and made their sound a bit more memorable than before. Most of all, the production is better, and they stopped trying to make their songs catchy instead of just focusing on making a complete sounding album. I thought "The Road to Hell" was such a lame song because of this. The general sound is still not very groundbreaking, but beautiful all the same, and the the lead singers vocals are stellar, and most of all, they are no longer boring like they used to be.

This band still doesn't even come close to standing up to bands like the aforementioned ones and others, which is why I rated it 4 starts and would actually have liked to give it only 3.5, (but 3 sounded harsh) but they are still a good band, all things considered. If you're a die hard post-hardcore fan, than this album is for you!"
