"This is an earlier Immortal CD, and their 2nd best (in my opinion), after 'At the Heart of Winter'. This is the first Immortal I heard, and I've grown quite fond of it. I also own Battles in the North, at the Heart of Winter, and Damned in Black, and I am about to aquire Pure Holocaust as well. If you are familiar with Immortal, you will like this CD. If yopu have never heard of them, then you should know that they play black metal, and their brand of black metal is very cold and dark. They expand their lyrics past the normal blasphemy and they sing rather about things which are extremely cold and dark. Their music has a cold feeling to it, and it's hard to describe to someone who hasn't heard it. If you like death or black metal, or you think you do, then you should own this CD.
