"idletime plays a kind of jazz-rock fusion with funky bass lines, emphasizing imaginative improvisaton played against a lively structured rythmn. They've been getting a lot of attention in their home bailiwick of New Orleans. This is idletime's debut cd in which the group showcases some of their original compositions. This is the kind of music that brings forth all-at-once what I think are the important elements in the American music forms, balancing creativity and originality with accessibility and enjoyment. "Great debut album! Is it jazz? Is it funk? I don't know, but I popped time stops... into my car cd player and listened to it 3 straight times before I could take it out. They really know how to put a tune together, and they play even better than they write. They are REALLY GOOD live, too! Catch them wherever you can. You won't be dissapointed. And sisters, these guys are H-O-T! I can't wait for their next cd to come out.avid fan"
