"I must say that being an avid fan of Dick Dale and the Ventures, I was a bit skeptical about the Cads. I mean, surf rock has been gone for so many years, or has it? This disc is for the surfer in all of us. I suggest you do yourself a favor and buy it!"

"Easily cooler and more solid (polished)than Go Exotic, but may not be for every surf fan as this is more in the vein of British Instros (The Shadows) The over all feel of this album is much deeper than Go Exotic. The music definitely sets a feeling. There are a few numbers (2) that are a little on the unexciting side but tonality and playing ability totally make up for this. Solid players, solid melodies, solid tone. Not your normal riff oriented 90s surf rock. These guys meant it when they played and its too bad they aren't likely to reform anytime soon. A great late night date, drive by the beach CD. Easily one of the greatest 90s combos. Wait I stand corrected - The Hunting Cads are playing Tiki Oasis in August 2009 Holy Crud."
