"Con Hunley recorded "five" albums for Warner Brothers from 1979-1982 plus singles for Prairie Dust, Capitol and MCA. Con became frustrated with the music "business" and gave up recording
around 1983 although he continued to do live shows on a limited
basis. In 2001, Con recorded an eleven song version of this CD
which was hard to find. In 2003, Con added four songs to what is now the present CD. Along with Charlie Rich, Con is one of
the two best white soul singers ever. This is a great CD which
includes Con's piano artistry on titles such as "She Thinks I Still Care," "Still" (in a different but great treatment than
Bill Anderson's), "Amazing Grace," Hank Cochran's "Don't Touch Me" and "That's All That Matters To Me," and "Since I Fell For You." If you like heartfelt country in a soulful style, then Con
Hunley is your man. Hunley's new website offers tons of information on the CD and his current activities plus articles, reviews and photos of the five Warner LPs."

"Waited 22 years for this guy to come out with a new cd and wow was it worth the wait.In the late 70's early 80's listened to him sing bluesy songs such as " I don't want to lose you" and spent hours enjoying his 3 albums. Have still never stopped listening to his music. The new album is full of great songs including "still,thats all that matters to me and 13 others.I have bought 5 copies of this cd and given them to my friends and every one has loved the cd.If you like country blues buy the cd,it is a must have."

I could not wait to get this c.d.! I was thrilled to hear that Connerd still has it going on!! It was very touching for me to listen to this c.d.; especially since it was dedicated to his sweet mother. I'm so glad he's back and better than ever! You go, Con!!
