Aaron and Chris from Appleseed Cast's first LP under this moniker. More brilliant songwriting like their first ep on Deep Elm. Debut full length. This was supposed to come out on Deep Elm but is so far removed from their emo pre-requisite that they'd rather pay the band off and use the master as a coaster than tarnish the Deep Elm reputation by releasing an album that is clearly not a cookie from their cutter. Guitar twangs with the consistency of mashed potatoes make tidy dollops on your aural plate while electronic blips and whahs pepper the white lumpy mounds of sound adding flavor. The shy vocals, barely above a whisper, pour a salty gravy over the top.
