CD Reviews

Very hot

"I have to say that this band has captured me. They are raw, innovative, melodic, tight and powerful. Vocals are very strong without any of those trite harmonies. Fun and aggressive. Lyrics are generally positive expressions of personal faith - without preachiness."
Pick this album up! It's a steal!

"I can't believe the group human never made it big. Well, wait, yeah I can. First off, they were on a now defunct record label called Organic, that put out some good, quality Christian music, but, as it was and always will be, the really good Christian music will remain underground and virtually unheard. Secondly, if this band had been promoted better, and had some of their demos sent in to radio stations and been sponsored well, maybe things would have been different, maybe not. In any case, this is a top-notch release by a band with a lot of passion and talent. It rocks just hard enough to keep you awake, but not so much that your head will throb if you're not into heavy music. The best track on the album in my opinion is "Hand Me Down" I really love the guitar work and the power that comes out in Randy Kinnett's voice. You can really tell he was feeling this song. "I Can't Live" is also a stand-out track, as pretty much the whole album is. I can't think of a song on here that isn't worth listening to. They even do an excellent cover of u2's "Bullet the Blue Sky", which is just as good as the job P.O.D. did with the same cover. Anyway, pick this one up. 1 cent! That's ridiculous! You will enjoy every minute of this c.d. And if you're into the more melodic, and I can't stand the word, but "alternative-rock" side of Christian music, this is your album."
