"This CD ain't nothing but the truth!! Hubert Powell is a legend in his own time. This CD clearly speaks for itself. I remember Hubert when he was in his late teens, and at that time I was a little boy living in Stamford, Conn. He was my inspiration then and why I'm playing today and I've been playing for 28 years. I haven't seen him in over 30 years and this CD clearly says it all "He hasn't lost anything!" He's the maestro's maestro. This CD is a must for all Gospel jazz fans, keyboardists, organists, and musicians the world over. I salute Hubert for a job well done, and I'm looking for your next project!"

"Hubert Powell plays instrumental versions of several popular gospel songs by top artists and some original material. His chops are good enough to hang with the best of the jazz or gospel world. This recording is high quality from beginning to end, well produced and recorded. This CD is a must have for gospel/jazz lovers. Hints of Joe Sample are evident in the keyboard style. Secular jazz fans will enjoy this gem also. I can hardly wait for the next Hubert Powell release."
